Listed in Hartford directories (see individual Kellogg firms for other addresses): 1842-48 136 Main Street The four Kellogg brothers, Jarvis Griggs, Daniel Wright, Edmund Burke, and Elijah Chapman, formed several partnerships in Hartford between 1836 and 1866. Edmund and Elijah ran D. W. Kellogg and Co. after Daniel moved west in 1836.

George Whiting lived in Brooklyn and began working for the Kelloggs lithographers in the late 1840s. His wife Julia is listed as a widow in the 1863 Brooklyn directory. After his death, his son Frank P. Whiting took over the business at 87 Fulton Street and continured to co-publish prints with the Kelloggs (Source: Nancy Finlay, Curator of Graphics, Connecticut Historical Society, see e-mail in object file).
